So my aunt Suz has become quite the blogger and has made me very interested in this blogging world so I have decided that my first big blog will be.....(drum roll)





A few things about me.....
1. I live with three girls and could not ask for better roommates and friends.
2. I am the oldest of 3. My brother is 20 and my sister is 11.
3. I am the oldest of 15 grandchildren. The youngest being two and the oldest being 23
4. I was so homesick my first semester away from home that I did really bad in school and am still trying to raise that gpa!
5. I believe in the healing power of walking barefoot in grass and enjoying how it feels.
6. I also believe alittle bit of sun can fix almost anything....feeling blue or needing to calm yourself.
7. I love love love music.
8.My favorite memories from being a kid are playing with my cousins who grew up to be my best friends.
9. I am still trying to figure out all this grown up business.
10. My mom is one of my best friends and so is my dad.
11. I call my grandparents every week to visit and have coffee over the phone.
12. Speaking of coffee....I am an addict. I love it very much. The smell and the taste.
13. I hardly ever watch movies over and over. Usually once is enough except for a chosen few: Notting Hill, Bridget Jones Diary, Juno, Love Actually
14. I was in the hospital 8 times before kindergarten.
15. I love to make up songs about everything
16. I work with kids. I have 16 boys who are a big part of my heart.
17. Traveling is something I love to do and hopefully one day can do much more of it.
18. Airports to me are the saddest and happiest places on earth. All the coming and going. Oh, the stories I can make up.
19. I love to sit and watch airplanes take off at night. Just imaging all the places I could go and do.
20. I hardly ever forget. ANYTHING!
21. I am extremely sensitive and tend to get my feelings hurt easily. It sucks and I wish I could be different.
22. I get very emotional when it comes to my family. I could not imagine myself without them.
23. I basically have the best friends in the world.
24. I like the air to be the lowest it can without making the electricity bill outrageous. Also, I have two fans in my bedroom always on!
25. I pray before I eat and before I go to sleep and when I wake up. I need alot of guidance.
26. My heart is in Texas, but part of it belongs to New York.
27. I once glued my brothers eyes shut with rubber cement. oops
28. Concan is my favorite place on earth. "There is a spot on earth a man can go to find himself and free his soul...a place somewhere between hell and heaven where noone hurts and all is forgiven." Concan is that place.
29. I love to dance. It is such a natural high.
30. Bean, cheese and potato breakfast tacos are my favorite.
31. I love chalupas. I eat them at any mexican restaraunt I go to.
32. I saw Bon Jovi when I was eighteen. He basically rocked my world.
33. I go to concerts as much as I can. I have seen so many cool people. Still a few more on the list though...
34. George Strait is my favorite country singer and "Carried Away" is the song I want to dance to at my wedding.
35. I drive alittle too fast, but am very careful with my passengers.
36. I think I was born to be a humanitarian.
37. I am really bad at math, but love numbers.
38. I talk really loud and fast. I am always told to lower my voice.
39. In kindergarten I got in trouble for attempting to pull the fire alarm. However, to this day I stand by my story of I was just looking at it.
40. Whenever I go out my name is Alexandra and I am from New York and am here on business.
41. Confrontations make me extremely nervous and uncomfortable.
42. I raised show pigs for many years for stockshow. Those are some of my greatest memories of my Buppo.
43. I also raised a lamb named, "Jake" that pounced on my brother. One of the funniest things I have ever witnessed.
44. Cousintime is something I miss.
45. I wish everyone could coexist on this planet.
46. I am moving to New York this summer to be a camp counselor. I am so excited and so nervous.
47. Some of the funnest nights of my life where at Howl at the Moon.
48. I am a huge nerd. I read all the time and CNN is a regularily visited website.
49. I love cowboy boots.
50. I watch the discovery channel like it is going out of style.
51. I believe in the power of a song, a story or a piece of art. "Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life."
52. I have broken my leg, my ankle twice, and my wrist. I have also had surgery on my ankle.
53. I still sleep with my sister when I go home.
54. New York is one of my favorite places on earth. I have spent alot of time there exploring and some of my greatest memories are from there.
55. I love to sing really loud in my car. Really badly, but none the less I do.
56. I want to be a therapist ( i think :) )
57. I am scared of heights and roller coasters. Talk about an anxiety attack.
58.I am really retarded and make up stories.
59. I want to write a book. I already have a title. Look for it soon on the bestsellers!! ha ha
60. I love being from Texas. The stars. The sky. The wide open spaces.
61. I have always worked with kids. Nanny, The YMCA, Babysitter and now Residential Specialist.
62. I am absolutely a disaster. My car is a mess, my closet is, but I always know where everything is.
63. No one compares to my friends. Emergency room trips, tubing down the river, endless talking and crying. Yeah, they rock!
64.Ditto with my family. They rock.
65. My room is my haven. My safe place in this world. So my house in Cuero.
66. I love my life and everything in it.
